I'm going to predict that 08' is going to be the year of Personal Branding.  Whether you're looking to get your name out there in the job market, trying to make friends, staying in touch with family or simply want to take some control over your personal PR, I really think owning your own personal blog, and personal domain name is going to be very common place by next year.  For example; I've used a blog tool called iReporter, through a new social media tool called Moguling.com  The test is to see if I can get my name to the top of the search engines, specifically Google within 60 days.  I purchased Dale Merritt (dotcom); dalemerritt.com and looking forward to seeing how this goes.
